Students Leaving Early

Please help us to maximize your student’s learning experience by minimizing classroom interruptions. We ask that if your child needs to leave school early, please SEND a note with him/her to school. Your child should take the note to the Attendance Office where he/she will be given an early dismissal pass. That way, your child will be waiting for you in the Attendance Office when you arrive. Your help with student check-out will be greatly appreciated! Due to verification we cannot accept dismissals over the phone.

Help Wanted

Middle school may not need room parents, but we still need your help! PTSA assists the school in many ways and we need parents to help out. Even if you can only help for one hour this year, we can use you. Check out just a few of the ways you can volunteer:

-Front Office
-Store Store
-Book Fair
-Duty Free Lunch
-Watch Dogs
Go to and learn more about these tasks. Contact to sign up for a task, or just sign up as a general volunteer. (We’ll send an email when something is needed throughout the year, and you let us know if you’re interested.)

School Store

Make sure you’re prepared for class with school supplies. We have all those specialty spiral notebooks (8.5″ x 11″), AVID notebooks, 3-ring binders, and more.
If you’re in band or orchestra, you can pre-order your music books and workbooks, plus we have a selection of strings and reeds.
Of course, there’s plenty of fun stuff to buy with locker mirrors, fun erasers, cool pencil sharpeners, earbuds, and mints. Check out pricing at or just stop by any morning to check it out!

Cobb EMC Annual Meeting School Challenge

September 17, 2016

The Cobb EMC Annual Meeting is at the North Georgia State Fairgrounds/Jim Miller Park on Saturday, September 17th. By attending the meeting, our school can raise money and you will get four free fair tickets with unlimited rides to the North Georgia State Fair. Members attending the meeting will also have a chance to win BIG prizes including iPads, a bill credit, a refurbished Cobb EMC truck, and much more!

To support your school during this fundraiser, remember to bring the school challenge certificate to the meeting, along with your photo ID. There will be a tent just past registration to collect all your school’s flyers. Registration begins at 8am and ends at 9:30am. Please arrive early–there will be plenty of activities before the meeting for everyone to enjoy.

Spread the word and bring as many Cobb EMC members to the Annual Meeting as you can. The more Cobb EMC members that come on behalf of our school, the more money we will receive.
