EOG Boot Camps

Open To ALL students. No sign-up necessary. All subjects are covered.

Intramurals are only on Fridays during EOG Boot Camp.

Media Center Changes Coming!

The Media Center is in need of a gently used Wii system if anyone would like to donate one. It should be in good working condition. Please contact Taylor Wickline at taylor.wickline@cobbk12.org if you can help! A tax deduction can be provided.

Secondly, the Media Center is in the process of streamlining resources and equipment. We could use any extra help possible with this process. Parents who can spare any time to help, please contact Taylor Wickline in the Media Center at taylor.wickline@cobbk12.org

Career Day

Inspire and encourage our students to explore career possibilities for their future at our 3rd Annual Career Day on Tuesday, May 23, from 9:25 am – 1:30 pm. We need approximately 20 enthusiastic speakers to share their expertise in their specific occupation with our students. Go to the Palmer website for letter and registration form.

Stamps for Mailing Report Cards At End of School Year

In an effort to help cover the postage cost to mail report cards home, we are requesting each student make a $2.00 donation towards postage. Donations can be made through the end of the school year May 24th. Please place your donation in a school payment envelope and drop in one of the black payment boxes located throughout the school. We appreciate your help and support!


8th Grade Activities

Please send in your 8th grade activity dues as soon possible. $10.00 for the carnival and $7.00 for the 8th Grade dance.

We need these funds to make the 8th grade activities a huge success.

Pictures needed for the Annual 8th Grade Slide Show!

Please email a baby picture (birth – 5 years old) and a current picture of your 8th grader to Shari@dskbk.com by Friday, March 31, 2017.

In your email please include your student’s first and last name, homeroom teacher and what high school they will be attending. These pictures will be used for the slide show presented during the end of year events.

If you cannot email a copy, please send in the actual photo (write name and homeroom teacher on the back) to your child’s homeroom teacher by March 31st.

Egg Drop

April 15, 2017

Sprayberry High School football field/stadium area

Parking and Admission – FREE

Plan to join us for the 8th Annual Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop. There will be fun, food, games, DJ, activities, and of course egg hunts for everyone. Kids will marvel as a helicopter drops thousands of eggs onto the Sprayberry High School football field to kick-off the hunt. There will be more than 90,000 eggs and candy for the various hunts. The funds raised from the Egg Drop go to support both the Shop with a Yellow Jackets and the Shop with a Longhorn programs for Sprayberry and Kell High Schools.

Youth Writing Academy Creative Writing Camp

June 19 – 23, 2017
