Counseling Corner

Did you know?

Research shows that most tweens would like to talk more with their parents about school-work. Ask your child to share what she’s learning in her classes. Be specific: “What kind of math problems did you do today?” or “Tell me about the science experience you did in lab today.”

“The time is always right to do what is right.” Martin Luther King, Jr.

Palmer Fall Tutoring Schedule

Tutoring sessions begin at 8:15 am. AVID in the AM starts at 8:00 am.

Please follow this link for the FALL SEMESTER 2017-2018 schedule

December Intramurals – Soccer and Basketball

Intramurals meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (Student Choice Day).

School doors open at approximately 8:00 and will close at 8:10.

Students will need to bring a change of clothes (PE clothes) to participate.

Early Check-Out Procedures

Please help us to maximize your students learning experience by minimizing classroom interruptions. We ask that if your child needs to leave school early, please SEND a note with him/her to school. Your child should take the note to the Attendance Office where he/she will be given an early dismissal pass. That way, your child will be waiting for you in the Attendance Office when you arrive. Your help with student check-out will be greatly appreciated! Due to verification we cannot accept dismissals over the phone.

Parents, please remember that you need to stop by the front office to sign in as a visitor anytime that you are in the building. This applies to the mornings before the 8:50 homeroom bell as well as after school.

This is for the safety of all the students and staff in the building.
